Please bring a suit jacket or blazer when visiting the clubhouse (except from July to September). Jeans, T-shirts, sandals, etc. are strictly prohibited from visiting or playing at golf courses in Japan.

Are rental shoes available?

No, you will need to bring your own golf shoes.

Getting to golf courses

The most common way to travel to golf courses in Japan is by car, taxi, or private transportation. Many of Japan’s premier golf courses are not directly accessible by public transportation and typically require travel by automobile, such as a taxi or golf course–operated shuttle busses which depart from the nearest train station, where available.

1. Book Your Golf Trip
Complete our booking form to share your preferred dates, golf preferences, and any special requests.

Our dedicated team of golf experts will get started right away.

2. Review Sample Itinerary & Estimate

Tee Time Japan will send you a sample itinerary & estimate based on your preferences. You can request changes or enhancements before confirming.

Once you are satisfied with the sample itinerary, secure your trip by submitting the booking deposit, which will be credited toward the total trip cost.

3. Final Payment
Complete your final payment 15 days prior to departure, and we will provide all booking details, directions, travel logistics, and 24/7 customer support so you can travel with confidence.

We recognize that travel plans can be subject to change. To modify or cancel your booking, contact us at your earliest convenience.

Our cancellation policy is as follows:

• A non-refundable deposit of USD $100 is required to secure your reservation and cover booking processing costs.

• Cancellations made 3 days before the golf round start date are non-refundable.

• Failure to make full payment 15 days prior to the date of your golf round allows Tee Time Japan to cancel the booking. Additional cancellation fees from transportation services will be deducted or invoiced accordingly.

• If cancellations are made by the golf course on the day of your round due to severe weather conditions (typhoons, snowfall, lightning strikes, and earthquakes), clients receive a partial refund of the booking, excluding the $100 deposit and transportation cancellation fees (if applicable).

Deadlines & Changes to Itinerary
Please inform us of any significant modifications to your itinerary no later than 15 days before your tour begins to ensure we can best accommodate your needs.

Reservations & Bookings
Tee Time Japan is available to help with reservations for activities and dining, although options may vary in availability. Larger groups should consider booking well in advance due to higher demand, and be aware that some reservations might come with cancellation fees.

Dietary Concerns & Needs
In Japan, there is limited recognition of special diets such as vegetarianism, veganism, and less common food allergies compared to other countries. Many restaurants may not accommodate changes to their menu, and some may refuse altogether. Additionally, with limited English spoken, caution is advised for those with severe allergies.

Tee Time Japan is happy to arrange rental clubs if required.

If possible, we highly recommend bringing your own golf clubs for the best golfing experience.

Booking your golf clubs for a flight is a seamless process. Most airlines allow you to check one golf bag (per passenger) as a standard item of checked baggage, as long as equipment is contained safely and meets the size requirement. Standard baggage charges apply.

Golf Checked Bag Requirements

• Standard baggage allowance and fees based on cabin and travel region apply

• Golf bags weighing over 50 lbs. will be charged the applicable excess weight fee

• If the outside linear dimensions (length + width + height) exceed 115 linear inches (292 cm), the item will not be accepted

• Items in excess of baggage allowance will be subject to additional or overweight baggage fees

Visa Requirements
Most travelers do not require a visa to enter Japan and will receive a 90-day visa upon arrival. It is advisable to verify your specific entry requirements before traveling.

Travel Insurance
All guests are required to secure comprehensive travel insurance for themselves and any dependents prior to their arrival in Japan.

Currency & Cash
As Japan continues to favor cash transactions, we suggest bringing sufficient cash or planning to withdraw yen at airport ATMs. ATMs in convenience stores also generally accept most international cards.
